Kelapa Retreat is located on the west coast of the enchanting island of Bali close to the coastal village of Pekutatan. This part of the island is untouched and remains as mother nature intended it to be.

Surrounded by a beautifully landscaped coconut grove, Kelapa Retreat is a truly peaceful hideaway. Each of its villas is surrounded by luscious vegetation featuring indigenous flora and fauna guiding you to an infinity pool and a private beach, where you can truly recharge and admire the stunning scenery.

Kelapa Retreat

There are 9 Villas available, categorised into Ocean Front Villas, Ocean View Villas and the Kelapa Residence with private pool. All villas offer ocean views and look upon the coconut grove. The villas follow the contour of the land and the reflective pond roofs of the villas are designed to appear like traditional Bali rice terraces, creating a mix of European and Indonesian design.

The aim at Kelapa Retreat is to offer you a taste of true relaxation and luxury, to make you feel at one with the spiritual ethos of the island of Bali. Whether your choice is to pursue adventure or simply escape from the daily grind Kelapa provides.

It is located directly on a thirteen kilometre stretch of black and silver sand beach. Perfect for long strolls and lazy sunset cocktails. Or if you are visiting the area for surfing, the famous Medewi Beach is just 5 minutes by car and Balian reef is less than 20 minutes drive. A one-hour boat ride will place you at the surfing Mecca of G land.

Ocean View Villa

The Ocean View Villas are one or two bedrooms.

Each villa comprises of a contemporary master king bedroom, living area and private balcony with daybed. A stunning feature is both an indoor bathroom with shower and outdoor courtyard bathroom featuring an additional shower and bath in true Bali style.

The villas are surrounded by a beautiful landscaped coconut plantation and offer spectacular views of the Indian Ocean. An additional bed can be added on request.

Amenities also include 29-inch flat-screen television, DVD player, double AC, ceiling fan, writing table, lounge chair, aromatic burner set and mini-bar. Complimentary tea and plunger coffee are provided, along with fresh tropical fruits served daily.

Ocean Front Villa

The one bedroom Ocean Front Villas are in the prime beachfront location. Each villa comprises of a contemporary master king bedroom, living area and private balcony with daybed. A stunning feature is both an indoor bathroom with shower and outdoor courtyard bathroom featuring an additional shower and bath in true Bali style.

The villas are surrounded by a beautiful landscaped coconut plantation and offer spectacular views of the Indian Ocean.

An additional bed can be added on request.

Kelapa Residence

For the ultimate in luxury villas, Kelapa Residence is an exclusive ocean front villa with direct view of Indian Ocean. The residence enjoys the privacy of a separate garden, beach access and private pool.

With two-bedrooms featuring private bathrooms the residence is perfect for a family or 2 couples. While the residence offers privacy of a villa, it also gives you access to the facilities and conveniences of the retreat.

A luxury transfer by limousine can be arranged from Denpasar International Airport (Ngurah Rai) to Kelapa Retreat (approx. 2 hours) POA.

Kelapa Retreat has facilities which can accommodate groups of up to 20 persons for gatherings such as family get-togethers as weddings, reunions, and conferences.

Surf Information

Kelapa Retreat is located just 5 mins drive to Medewi and offers the highest standard accommodation close to this surf break. Balian is a 20 min drive to the south. The Kelapa Retreat staff can arrange a driver or scooter hire to access the surf.

Surf lessons are available on request for all levels of surfer and the hotel has surf and boogie boards for guest use.

Eat

The inhouse Tides Restaurant & Bar is a stunning spot to savour your sundowner, admiring the sunset and feasting on a mix of western and Indonesian cuisine. Special menus for romantic dinners on the beach are available.
