Spice Suite

The Spice Suite is very peaceful and its private courtyard is filled with lush greenery. It's the ideal suite for a family of four or group of friends as extra guests can sleep in the Balinese style bale located in the garden.

The open air shower is one of the suite's best features as showering beneath the stars is a pleasure only a lucky few can experience!

Driftwood Suite

Constructed with drift wood collected from the beaches along the cliff and naturally plastered with clay from the property. The Drift Wood suite is spacious, romantic and beautifully decorated. The large garden-like bathroom is decorated with frangipani.

Gecko Suite

Large, private with enchanting views of the ocean and the Impossibles surf spot the Gecko Suite is ideal for honeymooners, a family group or mates wanting the view of the waves . The main bedroom on the ground floor has a king bed, stairs lead from this room to a mezzanine with 2 single beds for kids or friends. The bungalow has an undercover balcony with large day bed to chill out of the sun. Wait till you see the view from the shower !

Coral Cave

Literally, carved out of the coral cliff side, the Coral Cave offers complete privacy and unencumbered views to the horizon. A large cushioned balcony looks out onto the ocean and is a perfect spot for a private candle light dinner.

Secluded and romantic, the Coral Cave is honeymoon perfection.

Temple Suite

The Temple Suite is set in a private garden beside the temple. It offers total seclusion with a private lap pool and pool-side bale. A natural river stone bathroom is an amazing feature. Since the suite is extremely large additional beds can be added to accommodate friends or children. You can either dine in your suite by the pool or join the other guests in the cliff edge restaurant.

Eagle's Nest Suite

Nestled half way down the cliff, one reaches the Eagle's Nest via stairs that hug the cliff face. This of course makes the Eagle's Nest a suite not suited for the faint hearted. Once down though the adventurous are rewarded! The stairs lead to the top floor of the suite where a day bed/wave spotting balcony is the perfect spot to chill and watch the sunset or relax in during the day with a good book. The stairs then continue to the main deck and the entrance to the master bedroom, this airconditioned room is fitted with a large double bed, mosquito net and a safety deposit box. Outside the bedroom a large deck is an excellent area for a tan or a romantic candle light dinner.

Note: The Temple Lodge owners and staff are animal lovers, house pets include dog Elena and sausage dog Shakti. The local monkey population also like
to pay a visit, they are deterred by staff as they can be cheeky, stealing goodies. . .toothpaste is a particular favourite. If you are not an animal lover we
suggest the more enclosed bungalows like Driftwood, Papaya and Spice Suites

Surf Information

If waves are what you are seeking The Temple Lodge is located on the cliff above some of the best waves in Bali. With views from Uluwatu to Kuta you can check the waves without leaving the property.

Impossibles, Bingin and Dreamland can be reached from the adjacent beach access.

Bali's most famous break Uluwatu is 10 mins drive. Padang Padang tubes are a 5 min car or scooter ride along the coast.

Yoga

Cristiana is a trained Hatha Yoga instructor, making The Temple Lodge an excellent choice for those seeking a beachside Bali yoga retreat or private yoga programs.

Yoga Retreats

The Temple Lodge has hosted yoga retreats for teachers from around the globe.

To secure the venue for a Yoga Retreat you are required to take all suites giving your exclusive use of the facilities. Ayurvedic, vegetarian, raw food or macrobiotic menus are available and meals can be structured as full board or half board inclusive of breakfast and dinner . The yoga studio can comfortably accommodate 18 people and has a terrazzo floor.

Events

The property is small enough that guests can book the entire hotel for weddings, private functions or yoga retreats. The Temple Lodge sleeps 20 maximum and caters for functions for up to 36 people.
