Hi Lorraine,

I know that you are not yet back from Bali yet but I just wanted to say a huge Thank You for our beautiful accommodation at Acacia, we were extremely lucky that you highly recommended it to me.  It was extremely amazing and the pictures on the internet just don't do it justice.  Also the wedding for Gav & Heather was fantastic - all went just so smoothly - thanks to your exceptional organising.  I will keep you posted as to when I have my bubba and let you know what I have in mid-March.  In any case I am pretty sure that we will be returning to Bingin and probably Jabeki with Taj and also the new Bub in about 18 months.

Dukes At Bingin

Hi Jon and Lorraine,
Just a quick note to thank you both for organising the accom for our wonderful week away in Bali. We were thrilled with Dukes, it was perfect for our group of 6. The pool was fabulous and we did yoga on the massive lawn. Nyoman and Wayan also made our stay very comfortable, still dreaming of those banana pancakes!

The setting for the wedding was picture perfect, I felt like we were on a movie set it was so unbelievable beautiful!

Already pining after another trip to Bali....

Micks Place

Hi Lorraine,

I just wanted to say thank you so much for arranging our stay at Micks Place. Me and my friend absolutely fell in love with the place!! I cant believe I’ve never been there before since I love Padang Padang so much and its so close. Ketut and the girls were absolutely beautiful and we ate the BEST food ever.

The Bungalows were exactly what we wanted and we made really good friends with all the other people at the Resort. We are so converted I will stay  there every time I go back – preferably next time with my boyfriend.

The only prob was that we only had 2 nights there. I wont make that mistake again.

TEMPLE LODGE

Hi Lorraine,

Just thought I'd let you know what a great time we had at Temple Lodge, Bingin.  It really suited us as a family.  The food was fantastic and I've suggested to Christiana that she should do cooking lessons. We liked eating there so much we only went out for dinner a few times. Star Deli & Ye Ye's which were both good. Service was pretty good at Ye Ye's.
The kids settled into doing not much at all. Their hair is green from the swimming pool!  We all managed to have a surf too. Darcy my 11yo surfed Impossibles, Bingin, Padang & Ulu Watu. My daughter Grace & I were able to surf high tide Bingin (tiny swell) and my 4yo didn't mind too much being hugged by the balinese midget at Susie's warung! We saw Kelly Slater and Shane Dorian at Padang one day (before the Tawainese fishing boat go stuck
there) so that was a highlight.
We really enjoyed Mario and Christiana's company and the yoga was a nice way to start the day. So thanks for suggesting this place and we hope to get back there.

Hi Lorraine,
Sorry it has taken a while to write after our first Bali trip. It was such a let down to get back home!!
 
Jabeki was absolutely wonderful and perfect place for Roma and I. Made and Ketut could not do enough to help you, they are a beautiful family, and we felt like we were part of it!
 
Roma and I are keen to go back around the same time next year, are you able to let me know the avails for JAbeki in August 2008??
 
Thanks again for your contribution to Roma and I having the time of our lives in Bali!

We have been so impressed with everything about Sundarams, the people, the food, the level of service and the accomodation itself.  Sundaram and Riri have been wonderful hosts and have been extremely helpful with all our needs.
The food is so good that we have only gone out to eat once since being here.

Tiki House

Villa Soma & The Temple Lodge

Dear Lorraine

Thank you for booking our accommodation over the long weekend. We loved both Villa Soma and Temple. We had Villa Soma to ourselves (wasn’t too hot so no pool didn’t matter and private access to beach was priceless) and by the time we went to Cristiana and Temple Lodge we were ready for some company. We also visited Mike’s place – his honeymoon villa is amazing. Your recommendations were spot on. Thank you. I will be telling any of my friends thinking of going to Bali to contact you.

The Villas Nusa Lembongan

Dear Jon

Firstly, a big thank you for everything.  The accommodation in Bali and Nusa Lembongan was terrific.  The Villas at Nusa Lembongan were excellent particularly after the straw huts we were in on Sumba.  But having said that, Sumba was fantastic in that it was off the beaten track a bit and gave all the boys a taste of how the other half live.

We had no problems with the surfboards although a few were obviously rough handled in transit. 

Kuta has changed heaps in the last 25 or so years.  I was trying to find where I stopped all that time ago and I couldn’t recognize anything.  Certainly the stall owners haven’t changed they’re still as keen as mustard to get you into their shop and sell you just about anything.

We all had a great time away and again thank you for organizing things.
