Nestled away on a cliff top in the blissfully-laidback Bukit region, Villa Soma enjoys breathtaking views from the sacred temple of Uluwatu across to Dreamland beach from the property's cliff-edge Bale, and boasts private steps that access the famed surf breaks of Impossibles and Bingin.

With a refreshing open plan design and décor that exudes bohemian-style and Indian influences, the villa is complemented by a lap pool set in lush shaded gardens and a tree-fringed lawn which further accentuates the villa's peaceful and calm ambience.

Surfers and beachgoers will also appreciate facilities like an outside beach shower and surfboard racks, or the private day bed tucked away into the cliff face for those who enjoy solitude or just plain gazing out to sea.

Villa Soma

Villa Soma is one of Bingin's original beach residences and comprises of a three-bedroom house with a separate ocean-view bungalow. Visitors are able to take either the house or bungalow individually, meaning you share the pool, garden, bale and staff.

Alternatively reserve the entire property for exclusive use.

The owner Soma has raised her family in Bali and has immersed herself in the Balinese culture, greatly respecting the locals and Hindu religion. As a guest you will see the local families going about their daily rituals.

Villa Soma rates include services of full time staff. Guests can choose meals from the menu or request the cook shop for specific items and prepare custom meals for an additional fee. Made is an excellent cook from Balinese, Italian, Indian, Mexican and Western meals, there is always something delicious being prepared with the freshest possible ingredients.

With 3 air conditioned bedrooms, Villa Soma works for a family or group of friends.
Bedroom 1 is downstairs with a queen bed, a/c and a private courtyard bathroom

The open lounge dining area is a perfect place to chill in the hammock, it leads to the garden, pool, cliff edge pondok and private beach access to Bingin Beach.

Totally separate bungalow with own hot water bathroom, magnificent ocean views, and private dining terrace.
Ocean view bungalow sits at the front of the residence towards the cliff edge and has a great view from the bed to the horizon and ocean.

Denpasar International Airport 30 - 45 mins drive

Walking distance to some of the most famous surfing beaches in Bali like Bingin, Impossibles, and Dreamland beach. By car/scooter a five-minute drive from Padang Padang, and a ten-minute drive from Uluwatu.

The locals on the beach will love to sell you a sarong or tee shirt but if your after boutiques 30 mins - 1 hr

Surf Information

With great ocean views, Villa Soma provides the perfect vantage point to monitor wave and beach conditions without leaving home base, and offers direct access to Bingin beach and Impossibles - it's the only villa along the Bukit clifftop with a private beach staircase.  

A quick walk down the cliff and you can surf Bingin, Impossibles and Dreamland surf breaks.

Bali's most famous break Uluwatu is 10 mins drive. Padang Padang tubes can be accessed by walking on low tide or are a 5 min car or scooter ride along the coast.
